Resistance to yellowing
Transparency is one of the characteristics that sets a high-quality PPF film apart. SCUDO PPF is designed to resist UV rays and the effects of the weather, maintaining a perfectly transparent appearance over time and preserving the original colour of the paintwork.
✔️ Accelerated ageing test carried out using 6500W Xenon Arc lamps that reproduce sunlight, including UV rays, visible light and part of the infrared spectrum: 1,000 hours, equivalent to 10–11 years
✔️ Tests carried out in accordance with international standards: ISO 4892-3 – ASTM E1164
✔️ Colour change is the parameter that measures the change in colour of the material following the accelerated ageing test: ΔE value < 0.6
✔️ Result: A colour value of less than 0.6 indicates a variation that is virtually imperceptible to the human eye, ensuring that the film retains its original transparency and colour.
